A short description about the new SOA Strategy in the Andalusian Healthcare Ministry - IT Division. Causes, strategy and application in the way to achieving a soustenible bussiness and technology model as well as a high level of interoperability

 2002: InterSas (citizen’s web access) and AGD
(System of demand management for programmed
surgery).
 Scheduling by phone. Electronic prescription.
 2005: Deployment of Urgencies Application
 2006: Scheduling by web.
 2007: Deployment of Analitic Corporative Module
 2009: First Deployment of DAH
 2010: SOA Strategy beginning. Rethinking DAH
 2012: SOA – DAH operative in 10 hospitals.
Including big hospitals (>1,000 beds)

surgery). DAH is a corporative IT solution for Hospital.
It includes a HIS application, RIS application,
 Scheduling by phone. Electronic application and
Nursering application, Clinical prescription.
 2005: Deployment of Urgencies Application
the SOA services and infrastructure used by all
of them, including the services from/to central
 2006: Scheduling by web. Scheduling, MPI,
applications as
 authentication/authoring application, etc.
2007: Deployment of Analitic Corporative Module
 2009: First Deployment of DAH
 2010: SOA Strategy beginning. Rethinking DAH
 2012: SOA – DAH operative in 10 hospitals.
Including big hospitals (>1,000 beds)

5. Current Use
 >7,9 M EHRs
 1.145 GP principal centers conected (100%
population covered), 28 hospital areas and 3.500
pharmacies.
 Dialy Users: >17.000 healthcare professionals
and 3.500 pharmacists. >9.000 concurrent users
in GP
 39,7M GP sheets, 3,0M emergencies, 400M
scheduled appoinments.
 And 58% of use of the global electronic
prescription/dispensation circuit
