2. What is poverty?
• Poverty is general scarcity, dearth, or the state of one who lacks a certain
amount of material possessions or money. It is a multifaceted concept, which
includes social, economic, and political elements. Poverty may be defined as
either absolute or relative.

Poverty is not only present in other country but also in Singapore as you

trying to support a struggling family. Food

• A charity founded in 2001, it provides community
and social services to low-income families here. In
2010, it launched a medical fund for children from
these families who require long-term medical care

8. But why isn’t poverty not solved ?
• The video here talks a very controversial topic about why we don’t
solve poverty although we know how to do it ,it is common
concept by man that that these people need more money from
other to be able to survive and in the videos ,it talks about how by
having people just shares their incomes and we would have no
such thing as poverty around but with this communism would be
created and democracy and equality would be taken away as the
cost for no poverty ,is that really worth it ?
