A majority of chronically ill adults in the U.S. go online to seek health information, with 93% asking health professionals for medical advice when needed. While 57% of chronically ill e-patients consume user-generated health content like blog comments and doctor reviews, 20% contribute by posting their own comments, reviews, and other health content.
