The NWS 101 provides radiant warmth for infants suffering from severe heat loss. It is suitable for all environments from labour rooms to neonatal ICUs.

2. Infrared (IR) radiation from a quartz
heater is beamed by a parabolic
reflector uniformly over the infant bed.
The heater output can be controlled in
servo and manual modes. The height of
the warmer unit can be adjusted
according to the height of the bed.
When X-rays need to be taken, the
warmer unit can be swiveled away.
Dazzle-free lamp permits the care giver to
examine the infant non-intrusively.

3. The infant's temperature is sensed quickly
using a highly sensitive thermistor probe
and presented on a bright, large, easy-to-
read LED display. The panel has
ergonomic soft-touch keys. A backup
battery indicates the infant’s temperature
even if there is a power failure.
Trays can be provided optionally on the NWS
101.

4. FEATURES OF RADIANT WARMER
The infant temperature is measured quickly using a high-
sensitivity thermistor probe and displayed on a large, easy-
toread LED display. The display has a battery back-up and
indicates the temperature even during power failures
Infrared (IR) radiation is beamed from a quartz heater by a

the bed. The heater can be operated in servo and manual
modes

5. The height of the heater unit may be adjusted (by
qualified
engineers) for different bed heights.
The NWS 101 is mounted on castor wheels. The
low T-shaped base slides under other equipment
such as different bassinets and the mother's cot.
The control panel is ergonomically designed with
soft-touch keys. This modular panel may be easily
removed if servicing is required. An easily
accessible quick reference is provided on the side
of the NWS 101
The NWS 101 is equipped with a dazzle-free
observation light for examination of the infant.
