What is a rapid authoring e-learning tool?
Rapid authoring tool A rapid authoring e-learning tool is software which content developers (teachers/authors) use to easily and fast create e-learning content deliverable to the end users Though these authoring tools have a range of uses, they are commonly used to create e-learning content Thus create e-learning content in short time and easy way with reduced cost The content is published in a way to conform to some international standard, such as SCORM
Who is Raptivity for?
Content creators You are a trainer, an educator ora subject matter expert  You are looking to create highly interactive and meaningful e-learning content quickly and easily You are not necessarily a technical person
How can Raptivity make a development process easier and faster?
Easier and faster Choose one of the formats to publish your interactivity Pick up a template from the interactivities’ library. Customize Publish Raptivity provides complete control over the content, look and feel of interactivities, while maintaining its ease of use. Use  the interactivity in your LMS, another authoring tools, website or presentation.
Easier and faster The wizards, forms and templates make Raptivity easy to master.  With support to Unicode languages, course creators can create interactivity in non-English languages. Raptivity provides a variety of pre-defined color themes. Course creators can apply any of the themes to the interactivity and transform it into a new attractive look.
How to create an interactivity?
Decide on the pack Search in leverage Raptivity library of pre-built interactions organized into several packs. You can base your research on the best instructional design models.  Save interactivities in My Favorites or My Examples and build your personal best practice library.
Select the category Select one of the categories according to your needs. Create your own learning theory and map the interaction models to various steps in your theory.
Choose the interactivity Choose the interactivity that suits best to the activity you would like to create. Read the description to know more about the interactivity.
Start a basic customization Specify the basic settings for your interactivity like background, title and image.
Proceed with a detailed customization Add your changes directly in the Interactivity Editor. Select the target view size for your interactivity.  Select the parameter like background, image, title, instructions from the tree menu and completely customize your interactivity.
Proceed with a detailed customization Get help Activate  Spell Checker Change theme Switch to the Quick View mode and see your changes immediately.
Last step - publish your interactivity Publish your interactivity as a single Flash file  or as multiple file output. Publish with tracking option allows you to save your content as a SCORM package and successfully track completion status, score and responses for each interactivity.
Which are the interactivities I can choose from?
Interactivities Raptivity interaction models library is conveniently organized into several packs and categories.  The core pack consists of 35 interaction models but more than 200 are available within different packs You can search through several categories as learning games, simulations, videos, virtual worlds, presentations, software simulation and more.
