2. PLANET OF PLASTIC’S MACHINE SOLVES MILTIPLE WASTE, ENERGY,
HEALTH AND EVEN DIPLOMATIC ISSUES
Our project solves the plastic waste problem as it intercepts plastics already heading into the
landfills to be ‘recycled’. Consumers already separate out their plastic for recycling in New York
City, yet only plastic bottles and jugs are recycled according to NYC.gov.
Planet of Plastic’s Plastic-To-Oil machine effectively converts plastics #2-7 into gasoline,
kerosene and diesel. It also eradicates the plastic pollution problem at the source.
Not only are we able to eliminate plastic waste, but also provide the nation with a new and
efficient source of national oil.
Our machine allows for clean, home-made, low-priced energy. The US can begin to export oil
instead of import oil as it used to decades ago.
The concept sounds like a dream, but in fact it is actually already a solid reality for over 77
global patrons of the plastic-to-oil machine.
3. SOLUTION
PLASTIC =$
Plastic, a product that was once waste is now of
value.
31 MILLION TONS OF PLASTIC WASTE PRODUCED ANNUALLY BY THE
US CAN BE CONVERTED INTO $22 BILLION ANNUALLY IN OIL.
(Details in slide 9)
4. Money is made converting plastic to oil and
initially selling it to heating oil brokers.
In 1- 1.5 years the machines pay for themselves
no matter what size the customer orders.
Not only is the impact of our machine measured
in tons of plastic that no longer pollute and
suffocate our cities and oceans, but also by selling
the oil to local home heating companies for use
within communities.
Our oil is cheaper and lower in emission by being
sulfur-free (as sulfur is refined out of the original
crude oil in order to make plastic) than oil that is
currently being used in home heating alone.
5. Our technology is based on pyrolosis.

This method heats the plastic to its melting point, then heats
the melted mass in a second hotter stage, which converts the
liquid molten plastic into a gas. This gas then passes through a
steam bath to cool and condense back into a liquid, our light,
sweet synthetic oil.
The machine runs on electricity: we have several models and
are priced by size and capacity, depending on customer’s
demand. The smallest home desktop machine runs on 5 watts
and emits the same amount of CO2 emissions as four small
children breathing in a circle.
6. OUR INITIAL TARGET MARKETS ARE RECYCLING FIRMS
ALREADY COLLECTING PLASTIC AND WEALTHY HOME OWNERS
WHO WOULD LIKE TO RUN THEIR HOME HEATING SYSTEMS ON THEIR OWN
PLASTIC WASTE.
SMALLER RECYCLERS ARE ALSO AN IDEAL TARGET MARKET AS IT ELIMINATES
TIPPING FEES AND GENERATES AN OIL REVENUE.
A RECYCLING FACILITY IN NJ HAS PRESENTED AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER
ON A LIMITED BASIS. THEY WILL PROVIDE FACILITY SPACE, ADJACENT TO
LANDFILL OR A TRANSFER STATION, LABOR AND MATERIALS ON A
REV/SHARE BASIS WITH OWNERS OF THE MACHINERY.
THIS IS A TREMENDOUS OPPORTUNITY AND AN IDEAL TEST MODEL FOR
OTHER WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES.
PRIVATE LENDING AND CROWD SOURCING FOR AWARENESS IS ANOTHER
OPTION FOR INVESTMENT AND MARKETING.
SEEKING $1.5 MILLION UP TO 10.5 MILLION IN START UP CAPITAL TO EQUIP
ONE FACILITY.
7. There are several competitors. This
technology is not an utopia and is already
running throughout parts of Asia.
Some competitors are experiencing
remarkable results and have all of the legal
certifications.
Planet of Plastic’s machine has computer
controlled internal heating elements which
guarantee more efficiency and reliability than
other competitors.
Planet of Plastic’s Machine is also the only one
running on a continuous stream closed system,
where plastic goes in one end and streams out
the other end as oil.
8. KEY TEAM MEMBERS
Mary Schook, creator and director of Planet of Plastic, is
frequently in the news for bringing technology and new
innovations to the public through her unique retail,
wholesale and distribution business, M.S. Apothecary.

Planet of Plastic’s advisory board is a private panel with
extensive experience in legal and the sales of alternative
fuels throughout the decades.
9. According to the EPA the US produced 31 million tons of plastic in 2010.
Our largest system converts 42 tons of plastic into over 10,000 gallons
of oil per day in a 24-HR continuous cycle. At $3 per gallon (up to $9 in
some markets) $10.9 million dollars in heating oil is what
Planet of Plastic’s largest machine will produce per year.
($110 BILLION DOLLAR POTENTIAL IN JUST THE US ALONE)
In order to eliminate the annual plastic waste the US alone produces,
2023 machines would need to be enlisted in one of the 74,000 recycling
facilities available in the US.
Start up capital and projected revenue will depend on which and how
many models will be installed within three and five years.
Our best bet would to strive for initial municipal funding.
10. Planet of Plastic’s Machine creates a virtually
negative carbon footprint. The plastic is a
useless toxic waste that creates oil on 5 watts of
electricity with minimal CO2 emissions.
Given that plastic is also made from oil, a non-
renewable energy source we are eliminating the
need to deplete the earth of its resources while
poisoning it even more with current recycling
methods.
11. Our timeline is to immediately get a minimum of 25,000
signatures through Change.org so that Mayor Bloomberg
in New York City and electees in Washington are by law
forced to take notice that Planet of Plastic has a machine
that converts Plastic to Oil. Through this plan of action we
also intend to raise public awareness through our current
social media channels.
Thereafter we will seek crowd funding for our NJ waste
facility partner, which already has a stream of incoming
plastic waste as well as oil buyers.
$50,000 will go toward advertising costs, supplies and
admin for Planet of Plastic.
Planet of Plastic is still a new endeavor and has been a
labor of love in cooperation with International Students
learning business and language.
