A project is completed with a group efforts. Group meetings
should be conducted on weekly basis so that the project’s status
is known to all the team members.
3. Communication Among
Team Members
Project planning is a group task and a group task does not
function well when there’s communication gap. Some tasks are
dependent upon others. Without completion of one other
cannot be planned, so to know weather they are completed or
not communication is a must.
4. Avoid Absence
Since every member is allocated with different task sudden
absence of one member can create imbalance in the project
making schedule. As far as possible absence should be avoided.
5. Plan "B"
Incase, any of the plan’s step cannot be executed successfully an
alternative plan should always be there. This helps to complete
the project in scheduled time period.
6. Time Management
A project is run for a limited period. If the project cannot be
completed within the limited period the project expires. The
project manager should help the team members to manage
their time.
7. Cost Management
A project manager takes responsibilities for control spending
and to ensure that the budget allocation is optimized and cost
are fully covered with the planned and allocated budget.
8. Quality Management
Clients satisfaction is a key of project’s quality. The objective of
running a project is to live up to the expectation of the clients. It
is important to make sure the project requirements are met
managing clients satisfaction.
9. Human Resource
Management
Project requires specific expertise at specific moments in the
schedule depending on the given phase of the project. All
aspects of staff working and their potential in a specific project
section have to be considered to have a good project.
10. Scope of the Project
Scope of project is work- oriented. The scope of the project
outlines the objectives of the project and goals that needs to be
met to achieve a satisfactory result.
11. Closure
The project closure phase is the last phase of the project life
cycle. In this phase, a project is formally closed and then report
of its overall level of success is given to the clients.
