The concept of social work
means the idea, thoughts , plan
and goal of social work.

between person and social environment and full
filling lack and insufficiencies.
• The scientific ways of social occurrence was
found in around the end od 19th century
• There is no one without problems in the society.
• Those poor helpless and needy people were
helped by individuals, families, different
communities and organizations.

philosophies.
• Religious philosophy taught them :
leberation,humanity, love and feelings,
democratic attitude, equality among people
as mean and reward
• Benevolent or charity works for the helpless,
poor, disable and unemployed people was
taken as respecting social work.

cause these activities can’t solve the problems
permanently.
• So the main goal and concept of social work is to
make them self-reliant.
• Social work actually tries to solve the problem
errantly.
• Social work solves the problems using
knowledge, skills and system based on human
relation.

society and its institutions could be voluntary,
governmental or mixed both. Social work of
