Forks and knives are held in the left and right hands respectively when dining in Russia. After eating, utensils should be placed horizontally on the left side of the plate. Hands must remain visible and elbows off the table throughout the meal. The most important guest sits at the head of the table, with the next most important to their immediate right. The client is served first and a 9-10% tip is included in the total bill price. One should not start eating until the guest has been served and invites others to eat too by saying "Pree yat na vah appeteetah". Staring at other plates is rude. Typically the person who invited others pays the bill.
