Description:
1. Regional Branding Integration (Onsite) was one of the major in-house project ofNBS,
recentlyNBS has acquired 3 major UKsocieties- Dunfermline, Cheshire andDerbyshire.
This project aimedto deliver the transitionto a single brandorganisation soensuring
Derbyshire, Cheshire and Dunfermline buildingsocietycustomers are welcomedin
Nationwide brand.
Migratingregional brandCustomers, product holdings andbalances to Nationwide ensuring
customer retention andcustomer service pre andpost integration where possible.
2. Payments Redirection (Onsite)
This was an extension of the above projects to address technical and operational changes, to there would be no
impact to customers in terms of their payment using the same account, and it would be redirected to new
Nationwide accounts till 13 months after which theyshould be using nationwide accounts.
3. Current Account Switching in 7 Days(offshore)
This was a regulatory project from UK Banking Authority. The accounts of any customer using any bank can be
switched to another bank within 7 days of initiating the request. Losing bank will provide all the account
information and mandates which are setup on customer account to the gaining bank. Nationwide was the first
bank to implement it.
4. Voyager - In house Migration (onsite/offshore)
This wasa major cross platformmigrationproject in whichCBS was migratedfrom Unisys to
SAP, all the existing code andbusiness logic was extractedfromUnisys applications andthe
same was providedas input for developing new code andinterfaces inSAP.
5. Payment Service Directive (Offshore)
A regulatoryproject to enable faster processingof Real-time Transactions betweenvarious banks.
Responsibility:
As a BuildManager I have carriedout the followingactivities:
