Nature of work As a Software Engineer in HCL Technologies, I owned entire Sustenance
responsibilities of a module. The ownership includes development of new
XMLAPI support for the features that are requested by Customer and fixing the

Description ServerIron ADX:
The Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) such as Brocade Server Iron ADX
helps ease the administration of TCP-based or UDP-based applications. They
provide server load balancing (SLB) for the application servers, help offload
CPU-intensive tasks from the application servers, and provide added security to
the server farm ADX is a brocade device which does load balancing. The
Brocade ADX Series of application delivery switches is used by the world's most
demanding service provider networks and large enterprise data centers. With a
comprehensive portfolio and features, the Brocade ADX Series enables service
provider and enterprise organizations to scale network performance, deploy
services more efficiently, and differentiate service offerings without
compromising on performance and reliability.

3. Virtual ADX:
Brocade enables an on-demand service delivery model and extends application
delivery service as an elastic Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)
component through the Brocade Virtual ADX. This solution features a
distributed architecture with a dedicated, logical management processor and
multiple logical application cores to enable intelligent traffic management at
scale. The Brocade Virtual ADX offers robust Layer 4 - 7 services with high
availability and comprehensive management and orchestration.
Our role is to do manual testing and write automation scripts for the same.

Description SDN and OpenDayLight:
The REST APIs for OpenDaylight (and hence for the Brocade SDN Controller)
are well suited for writing proactive, external applications. These skills include
knowing how to make HTTP requests, how to register listeners for events from
the controller, and how to read the model data from the controller. Lastly we
provided advice and pointers to assist you in performing device communication
using Openflow or NETCONF.
Clicking on one of the API groups opens up all the APIs available in that
category. User can examine these APIs via the GUI in order to get an idea about
what is available to user.
