past and continue to the present.
I have played cycling
since 2010.
It refers to an specific action in the past, and
it is important in the present.
2- We use the Present Perfect to talk
about experiences. It is important if we
have done it in our lives or not. It is not
important when we dit it.
I have won the ice hokey
game for 3 years in a row
Have you ever played
boxing?
We form the Present Perfect tense
with Have/has + Past participle
Mark and his brother
have played football
for 3 years.
AFFIRMATIVE FORM
Here you can see some examples in the
affirmative form in Present perfect.
Katy has met a famous soccer
player.

The fixed time can be
another action, which is
in the past simple (since

arrived).
I've liked swimming since I
was a child.
We use 'for'
with a period of
time (2 hours,
three years, six
months).
We have practiced athletics
for 3 months.

double the consonant.

One –e at the end of the verb: Leave the –e and add –d
Example: Love- Loved, Save- saved
Verbs ending in –y preceded by a vowel (a,e,i,o,u) add –ed
Example: Play-Played
Change the –y if there is a consonant before and add. –ed
Example: Study- Studied

the verbs… Met, Hidden, Got, Ridden, Gone…
