1. Our University signed an agreement with the office of
Chinese Language Council International (OCLCI)
known as Hanban last June 22, 2007 in order to
strengthen educational cooperation between China
and the Philippines, support and promote the
development of Chinese language education and
boost mutual understanding between the two
countries. We aim to establish another Confucius
Institute among the 80 countries which started since
2004 and have been growing, now numbering to 310
inclusive of Confucius Classrooms, hereat our
University inline with the aforementioned accord with
the following objectives:

including multimedia & Internet
2. Train teachers teach Chinese in primary schools, high
schools and colleges
3. Administer the Chinese Language Proficiency Test and
tests to certify ability to teach Chinese as a foreign
language

areas for all circles of person
5. Sponsor academic activities and Chinese competitions
6. Show Chinese movies and TV programs in learning
mandarin and exploration of Chinese culture
7. Provide consulting services for individuals who desire to
study in China
8. Provide reference materials for the educational and
other professional individuals
