Personal success as a leader at all levels is a direct result of the quality of the group of people being managed. A 2014 Gartner survey indicates that CEO’s 
consider smart growth in the form of people, process and technology the top priority for the future. Most leaders have no formal recruitment training, 
but are however expected to master it. Finding and selecting the right employees is not an easy task. Statistical odds and demographics are against us. 
Human potential is a tricky thing and psychological bias often makes decisions irrational. As the battle for talent continues to rage, successful companies 
have a clear focus on recruitment as a strategic path to success, while the less successful continues to consider it a necessary evil / expense.

The course balances theory with hands-on practice / feedback, and utilizes blended learning methods 
including role-play and video. To create the steepest possible personal learning curve we naturally adapt to 
language, experience level and business context, spending two packed days mastering the following topics: 
 Definition of candidate profiles. The right candidate in light of the strategy. 
 Sourcing: How to find the right candidates? Don’t just “post and pray”. 
 Screening CV’s: Don’t waste time; zoom in on the right candidates fast. 
 Interview mechanics, interview structure and report building. 
 The 3 fundamental interview questions and interview methods. 
 Body language: Interpret and use evidence beyond the words. 
 Psychometrics and references as valuable data points to be considered. 
 Legal and ethical considerations. 
 Team based interviews, how to best involve multiple sets of eyes. 
 Irrational decisions made rational using objective evidence gathering.
