Tesloop is creating the world's first sustainable transportation network. We manage and operate an expanding fleet of emissions-free vehicles – currently all Tesla Model S cars. Our first service offers city-to-city shared routes, which leverage the huge economic advantages of recent electric, semi-autonomous vehicle technology.
Tesloop has been in service since early July 2015, on routes between Los Angeles & Orange County and Las Vegas & Phoenix. Pricing between LA and Las Vegas is approximately $85 one-way per seat. The service continually receives rave reviews from its growing and loyal customer base, with a third of all seats filled by returning riders.
Tesloop’s mission is to connect consumers with autonomous/electric vehicle transportation in the most convenient and cost-efficient manner. Tesloop is focused on building the technology platform necessary to efficiently operate a consumer-focused electric/autonomous vehicle fleet at scale.

The assessment of the authors:
We believe the opportunity for tech firms to disrupt
the auto industry is large enough to fundamentally
and permanently change how investors view
transportation… setting off a wholesale
reassessment of end market sizing, growth,
competitive dynamic, margin potential and valuation
[…]
The addressable market for mobility is on the
order of $10 trillion (10T vehicle miles x $1/mile),
more than 13% of global GDP. This figure ignores
the value of the time of the driver, infrastructure,
social and environmental costs.
Autonomous Transportation is the next big thing $$$
