“We want to live by each other's
happiness, not by each other's
misery”
-Charlie Chaplin
A unique business model, IFFTV, a TV
channel totally dedicated for Film
Festivals, entertainment, music and
information related to film and
broadcast industry, may be first in the
world. This will be a fusion of online,
mobile and satellite platforms.
IFFTV- is a reality TV concept for introducing
film festival related content and promotion of
films and film related services all over the
world. And this will be a disruptive platform for
new genre film festival.
Television with its multi- media
potential and interactivity has
possibly done more to disseminate
information and entertainment than
any other medium. We can not think
of a medium that can teach better
than television through variety,
through presentation of facts and
alternative view points. So mixed
with film and entertainment, IFFTV is
an initiative to support the
international film festivals and film
industry as a whole.
VISION
A 100% Film Festival TV channel to
promote cinema and music globally.
MISSION
A multi-media platform to create
awareness among global cine-viewers on
novel trends in cinema, video and
broadcast industry.
IFFTV Concept
Vision & Mission
Market and Industry Environment
Television programs are now becoming
increasingly interactive, constantly seeking
avenues of involving the viewer more productive
ways that, perhaps, even encourages viewers to
interact for a common goal.
• The Indian media & Entertainment sector is
expected to reach US$ 100 billion by 2025, from
its estimated size of US$ 19.85 billion in 2016,
due to its large capacity to consume new
products and businesses.
• In 2015, the overall Media and Entertainment
industry grew 11.7 per cent over 2014. The
largest segment, India’s television industry, is
expected to maintain its strong growth
momentum led by novel interactive concepts,
representing a year-on-year growth of about 13.2
per cent to reach (US$ 11 billion) in 2016.
• The international Media and Entertainment
industry is on an impressive growth path. FDI
investment also increasing
Value Proposition, Key Products/Services and
Differentiation
IFFTV will be a disruptive concept , first of its kind, in the
world. Film Festivals have been one of the most discussed
topics among film makers globally. Everything related to
film and broadcast industry will be there in this channel with
film clippings, promotion visuals, feature films,
documentaries, short films, campus films etc supported by
information technology.
Film Festival through reality TV
is a great concept that world
television lacked. There will be
film valuation, buying and
selling opportunities in this
platform
IFFTV will be a platform to know more about latest trends in
the global film industry and market. It’ll also support all film
festivals happening in this world.
This channel will be the best
option for advertising
consumer products and
everything related to film and
broadcasting
Our strategy is based on serving a clearly defined niche
market well. By having an identifiable market with available
products related to film and broadcast industry, the team of
‘IFFTV’ believes we can exceed media standards for
attracting potential viewers.
We are committed to make new
definition for film festivals, and
make it much more enjoyable
and meaningful through this
channel.
Currently around 6000 Film Festivals happening globally. IFFTV is to support .
Business Model and Sales/Marketing
Strategy
• All film makers and festivals in the globe, looking for global audience and
business opportunities. Out of the 6000 film festivals only very few are
popular among the global media community. By providing a multi media
platform, online, mobile and satellite TV channels, IFFTV is committed to
promote films and film festivals globally.
• We’ll make alliances with film festival organizers to promote films and film
festivals to the global community.
• Pre-launch promotions and live telecast opportunities will be available in
IFFTV.
• Co-branding is a revenue stream for the satellite TV. IFFTV will telecast
live programs of the festivals as a co-branded TV against time slot selling.
Business Model and Sales/Marketing
Strategy
• With a growth rate of 15.8 per cent in
2011, Indian television   industry
stood second when compared with
BRIC and other   major developed
economies.
• In 2014, the television industry in India
derived the major share of   its
revenue from advertising segment
(32.6 per cent) and the rest   from
subscription (67 per cent)
• Nonetheless, the share of subscription
in the overall revenue of   the TV
segment is expected to increase to
69.3 per cent by FY19
Competitive Scenario and Entry
Barriers
• The global broadcast media industry offers significant opportunities for industry players
due to increasing mobile television subscribers and a surging entertainment and media
market. The market is expected to continue its expansion and reach approximately US
$597 billion in 2017 with a CAGR of 4.5% over the next five years (2012–2017).
• The global broadcast media industry includes enterprises that create content or acquire
the rights to distribute and broadcast content. Improving economic conditions and more
spending by advertisers, coupled with rising online distribution of music, films, TV shows,
and video games are expected to be the industry's major growth drivers. Internet
broadcasting is forecast to be the fastest-growing sector as the Internet becomes more
dominant in content consumption.
• The industry is experiencing high competition due to low barriers to entry and an
increasing industry growth rate.
• We are introducing a never before concept. New streaming services, downloads, digital
content storage solutions, and the emergence of a new digital distribution model.
Market Traction
• Franchisee
• As a global TV channel for Film Festivals we are expecting franchisees all
over the world for IFFTV. It will be 50-100 in the first year @ $ 1 million
• Co- branding
• We will provide co-branding opportunity to film festival organizers
@ $ 45,000/- per day
Sponsorship, Advertising, Subscription are other money streams.
IFFTV Alliance

• First year franchisee: 50 to 100
• Expression of Interest : 200 +
• Content sharing:
• Co ventures:
• Media partners: 900
• Promotion partners: 7000
• Co-branding – 100 film festivals /y
TV, IT and mobile media for the promotion of global
film industry! Working with such a concept is
challenging…. There is so much enthusiasm in it.
It is enough to charge business to the next level.
Now we can think about how to develop and market
such a platform. Yes, media and entertainment
business is going through a revolution.
We have never consumed more TV than we do
today. Certainly, there has room for a specialized TV
channel for Film Festivals.
There is some consensus: A global business we are
looking for…
Programs
• Its exclusive coverage include live Film Festivals, feature films, film clippings, film songs, film
related programs, inside stories, interviews with film personalities, film Awards, events, music
albums, music shows, reality shows, one-of-a-kind original discussions and specials secure our role
as the leader in film and music channel.
• Being a 100% entertainment channel and an important leap in the field of media and information it
will screen Premier shows, award winning films and comedies, latest music chart videos, album
series and TV favorites. It will screen on location stories plus themed movie seasons every night
include fright night, action and family movies.
• Exclusive interviews of the top stars and film personalities will be broadcasted.

Film festivals.

creative talent to the channel for its forthcoming mega programs.

Feedback
Congratulations on your new initiative, Rajan!
IFFTV sounds like something completely new on the already saturated satellite TV landscape.
Kudos for creating something different and welcomed. Film is one medium
that really lends itself to interactivity (in that people are always finding ways to discuss their opinion
of films and movies). Also, so many fantastic films are not given
wide release, so only festival goers get enjoy them...with IFFTV, the average independent film
audience might possibly be expanded to include who might miss such
festivals...
I look forward to learning more!
I hope that you will not forget to cover some of the many annual film festivals here on the African
continent :-)
Cheers!

  • 17. Feedback Congratulations on your new initiative, Rajan! IFFTV sounds like something completely new on the already saturated satellite TV landscape. Kudos for creating something different and welcomed. Film is one medium that really lends itself to interactivity (in that people are always finding ways to discuss their opinion of films and movies). Also, so many fantastic films are not given wide release, so only festival goers get enjoy them...with IFFTV, the average independent film audience might possibly be expanded to include who might miss such festivals... I look forward to learning more! I hope that you will not forget to cover some of the many annual film festivals here on the African continent :-) Cheers! Gregory Branch CNN International …………..and more
