When I joined my last company, the recruiting
team shouldered all the burden for sourcing talent.
But by building an employer brand, implementing
recruitment marketing strategies and revamping
our candidate experience, I was able to build a
talent community of 10,000 candidates, which
allowed us to increase our talent pipeline for key
roles by 300% and which contributed to reducing
our time to hire by 25%.

Last year, we relied solely on job boards, which
only put our open jobs in front of active job seekers.
But this year, I implemented a content marketing
strategy to put our jobs and our employer brand in
front of active and passive candidates on social
media, which increased careers site traffic by 200%
and grew applications from underrepresented
groups by 75%, creating a more diverse slate of
candidates for our hiring managers.
