What Is StressWhat Is Stress
Stress is the body’s automatic response
to any physical or mental demand placed
on it.
Adrenaline is a chemical naturally
produced in our body as a response to
stress .
Fight or Flight response is illicited.
FIGHT OR FLIGHTFIGHT OR FLIGHT
What is fight with reference to Stress?
A set of physiological changes,

Distress #
1. Bad stress, or distress, is when the
good stress becomes to much to
bear or cope with. Tension builds,
there is no longer any fun in the
challenge, there seems to be no
relief, no end in sight.
2. This is the kind of stress most of us
are familiar with and this is the kind
of stress that leads to poor
decision making.
3. Behavioral symptoms include
overeating, loss of appetite,
drinking, smoking and negative
coping mechanisms.
Eustress #
1. Eustress is the good stress that
motivates you to continue working.
2. This "good stress" is what eustress can
be identified as and some people enjoy
it.
3.   It is when this stress is no longer
tolerable and/or manageable that
distress comes in.

2. Eu stress: Good Stress

RelaxRelax
Our brain fires electrical waves at 14 or more cycles a
second.
These are beta waves and are great for getting tasks
done, but not for learning new things.
Taking a few minutes to relax deeply slows your brain
waves down.
These slower waves are alpha waves.
They occur at between 7 and 14 cycles a second
Studies show alpha waves improve learning.
