An experienced computer engineer, Rao Chalasani joined the finance industry early in his career. Rao Chalasani attended the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1994. He was the only engineering student recruited by JPMorgan Chase & Co. for the company’s Leadership and Management Development Program. Soon after completing the program, Rao Chalasani served as Project Manager of International Capital Markets in the Global Derivatives Division. During the next two years at JPMorgan Chase, he oversaw the design and implementation of Infinity, a new system for global trading of derivatives.
