• Juggle with three balls and perform circus skills with different materials 
• Describe a juggling trick in English 
• Teach basic tricks to younger students 
• Distinguish the differences between traditional and contemporary circus 
• Identify and use main vocabulary about circus. 
• Produce written reports about circus

• Developing juggling techniques and skills to perform in circus- like show 
• Learning how to transmit these skills to younger students

• Getting to know the relevance of traditional and contemporary circus

4. Contextual (cultural) element 
The modern idea of a 'circus' is of a Big Top with various acts providing entertainment. However, the history of circuses is more complex. 
The use of animals in the circus is a controversial issue. Animal welfare groups have documented many cases of animal cruelty in the training of performing circus animals. 
Nowadays, the contemporary types (Cirque du Soleil, etc.) are the main trends.

• Juggle with three balls and perform circus skills with different materials. There are three levels of difficulty. Rubric for the juggling tricks 
• Distinguish the differences between traditional and contemporary circus 
• Describe a juggling trick in English. The oral presentations will be evaluated according to the objectives. 
• Identify and use main vocabulary about circus. 
• Webquest. 
• There are many digital board activities which provide instant feedback. 
• Produce written reports about circus. 
• Teach basic tricks to younger students. The younger students learn the tricks. 
• Individual feedback will be provided to students regularly on their output (content and language).

Subject Content • Developing juggling techniques and skills to perform in circus- like show • Learning how to transmit these skills to younger students • Interactive skills • Creating your own juggling materials • Getting to know the relevance of traditional and contemporary circus 3. However, the history of circuses is more complex. The use of animals in the circus is a controversial issue. Animal welfare groups have documented many cases of animal cruelty in the training of performing circus animals. Nowadays, the contemporary types (Cirque du Soleil, etc.) are the main trends. 5. There are three levels of difficulty. Rubric for the juggling tricks • Distinguish the differences between traditional and contemporary circus • Describe a juggling trick in English. The oral presentations will be evaluated according to the objectives. • Identify and use main vocabulary about circus. • Webquest. • There are many digital board activities which provide instant feedback. • Produce written reports about circus. • Teach basic tricks to younger students. The younger students learn the tricks. • Individual feedback will be provided to students regularly on their output (content and language).
