To
Whom
It
May
Concern:
It
is
my
pleasure
to
congratulate
Rashad
Khan
and
Team
Adventa
for
winning
the
Fall
2013
Convergent
Communication
competition.
This
competition
was
run
as
part
of
Kwantlen
Polytechnic
University’s
Marketing
4201
–
Integrated
Marketing
Communication’s
course
and
was
conducted
in
partnership
with
Dare,
a
leading
Vancouver
communications
agency.
Working
in
small
teams,
students
received
a
‘client’
brief
and
were
challenged
to
create
Convergent
Communication
Plans
for
MTS
(Manitoba
Tel).
Their
plans,
built
to
a
budget
of
$700k,
included
strategic
and
creative
ideas
combined
with
broad
spectrum
of
media
solutions.
Judging
of
the
plans
included
understanding
of
the
clients
business,
creativity,
plausibility
of
success
of
the
plan
and
presentation
to
a
team
of
Dare
executives.
Ultimately,
the
plans
were
judged
against
each
other
and
one
was
selected
as
the
plan
that
the
client
would
be
most
likely
to
proceed
with.
While
the
work
from
all
of
the
teams
was
strong,
we
found
Team
Adventa’s
plan
to
be
particularly
impressive.
Unfortunately,
due
to
the
confidential
nature
of
the
client
materials
involved
the
final
submissions
are
not
available
for
release.
Sincerely,
Jonathan
Longworth
