3. The key to any successful project is to start right and stay right.
7. Surveyed marks on top of the footings gave the center of stem wall.
That combined with radius points allowed the precise location of the
building foundation walls.
8. All the cooling ducts and most of the electrical work is located under
the building.
9. There are no square corners and very few straight lines.
34. Because the flow of water is towards the building, catch basins and daylight
drains had to be placed in strategic locations throughout the courtyard and
around the building for flood control. Precise survey was required.
35. Roughly 70% of the floors inside
the building are sealed concrete
with radiant floor heating.
