The second half of the program, after IIM B, will be relocated to
Fireflies Ashram. An inclusive secular ashram that is open to all
spiritual traditions that are concerned with personal growth, social

Targeted at individuals who have just set off on their leadership
journeys, this will help them develop advanced self-knowledge,
build clarity of vision , an understanding of the choices they have in
terms of careers and the ‘basics’ that will help them become more
attractive to employers, academic institutions and customers.

Relead Life School (RLS)
Most people make career decisions based on advice from peers
and elders as well as their research about what courses are
available. These, while useful are an ‘outside - in’ approach to the
quest.
Relead on the other hand, does an inside-out approach. Rather
than asking ‘what career should I choose’ it first asks the more
important questions - ‘who am I? what am I really great at? what
do I want to dedicate my life to?’.
A decision like this has a lifetime impact - Relead will supplement
your search in a scientific self reliant manner. Instead of dishing out
advice from a single perspective, it will build your ability to reflect
and think for yourself.
The idea behind RLS is to take you through what
we believe are fundamental building blocks of your
foundation in life :
vision (who do I want to be / what is my dream), self knowledge
(who am I), integrity (walking my talk) and service (what do I
dedicate my life to).

Relead International (RI)
For those individuals already on a leadership path, your source of
improvement are books, TED talks and training programs. Relead
in some ways is a training program co-evolved with the expertise of
IIM B and Blue Ribbon. But it goes a step further, in that it doesn’t
equip you only with today’s ideas - instead, it builds a capacity in
you to anticipate future directions and build your life in a way that
maximises your life experiences.
Investing in yourself gives returns in many ways - Relead could
mean greater success in your career, a more thought through
choice (and the joy of doing something you truly love life long) and
deeper understanding of classic leadership ideas. It is also a very
memorable experience - the days at Relead become some of the
most cherished times for our participants - times when they were

The idea behind RI is to take you through three journeys
of leadership identified through our Leadership Circles
- the ME journey (your own excellence and alignment), the WE
journey (learning to lead people) and the US journey (committing
to something higher than yourself). In each of the journeys we
have activities and conversations to stimulate your thinking and
build your skills.

Who is conducting Relead?
Relead draws from the highly experienced and talented faculty
pool at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore which is one of
India’s leading business schools. These faculty come from various
disciplines with extensive experience in teaching and industry.
The facilitators for Relead are from Blue Ribbon Movement,
primarily anchored by Abhishek Thakore. Abhishek is a gold
medalist from IIM Bangalore and has worked with companies
like BCG, Hay Group and Deutsche Bank. He has more than a
decade of experience in training, coaching and facilitation around
the world and across sectors. Team Blue Ribbon consists of
facilitators experienced in anchoring programs for youth and
young adults.

What is Relead based on?
The foundations of Relead are in psychology, philosophy, personal
growth, management, ecology and systems thinking. It also uses
an ontological approach to leadership - looking at the ‘being’ of a
leader. The content is distilled from extensive conversations with
leaders through our ‘Leadership for tomorrow’ Circles that created
conversations on what is an effective model to lead in tomorrow’s
world. It also draws extensively from leading publications, books
and conversations on leadership from around the world. The
methodology is a blend from across various disciplines - essentially
an interactive approach that combines action with reflection and
utilizes art, games, simulations and conversations to distill and
make sense of the ideas being explored.
Finally, it is based on an inter-disciplinary paradigm of leadership
where we learn to look at the process of leading through different
lenses, drawing perspectives from various domains to create a
holistic picture of Relead.

What’s new in Relead 2014?
Our content has been upgraded!
- Leadership circles: we’ve been talking to leadership
practitioners from around the country through our leadership
circles. Inputs have made Relead more relevant and rigorous.
- Two tracks: for those figuring their life journeys it is Relead Life
School, while those who have already taken their first steps as
leaders it is Relead International.
- Newer formats: while retaining all that our participants rated as
excellent, we have introduced round table dinners, fireside chats,
much more art and colour.
- More conversations, lesser talks: with very few (and
carefully selected) speakers, most of Relead is aimed
to push your thinking and make sense of what you are absorbing.
- What’s same old: IIM-Fireflies, the amazing simulations, the
diverse faculty, the reflection and the interdisciplinary take on
leadership.

Relead is BRM’s chance to contribute to our world by sharing

Relead in some ways is a training program co-evolved with the expertise of IIM B and Blue Ribbon. But it goes a step further, in that it doesn’t equip you only with today’s ideas - instead, it builds a capacity in you to anticipate future directions and build your life in a way that maximises your life experiences. Relead draws from the highly experienced and talented faculty pool at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore which is one of India’s leading business schools. These faculty come from various disciplines with extensive experience in teaching and industry. The facilitators for Relead are from Blue Ribbon Movement, primarily anchored by Abhishek Thakore. Abhishek is a gold medalist from IIM Bangalore and has worked with companies like BCG, Hay Group and Deutsche Bank. He has more than a decade of experience in training, coaching and facilitation around the world and across sectors. The foundations of Relead are in psychology, philosophy, personal growth, management, ecology and systems thinking. It also uses an ontological approach to leadership - looking at the ‘being’ of a leader. The content is distilled from extensive conversations with leaders through our ‘Leadership for tomorrow’ Circles that created conversations on what is an effective model to lead in tomorrow’s world. It also draws extensively from leading publications, books and conversations on leadership from around the world. The methodology is a blend from across various disciplines - essentially an interactive approach that combines action with reflection and utilizes art, games, simulations and conversations to distill and make sense of the ideas being explored.
