The KM Unit at York University saw a significant increase in traffic to its ResearchImpact website in 2009, with over 1.2 million hits compared to 215,873 in 2007 and 439,961 in 2008. The unit also moved to a new space in the York Research Tower, opening two community collaboration stations. KM collaborative projects raised over $300,000 for academic and non-academic partners. The unit established a peer network for York staff involved in KM, which has 25 members, and hosted 118 people at its flagship KM in the AM events. York shared its KM experiences in publications and media while piloting new collaborative tools and developing 40 research summaries for its website.
