RE: Dr. Rhonda Lee Petrini Reference Letter
To Whom It May Concern:
It is with pleasure I write this letter of recommendation and the opportunity to share my direct
experience with Dr. Rhonda Lee Petrini.
Dr. Petrini has been a significant resource over the years as a consultant producing a very high caliber of
output. There have been many occasions I have worked with her.
Most recently, in my position as the Director over Workforce Development at Solutions for Change (a
North County non-profit serving formerly homeless families), Rhonda Lee Petrini was able to design and
implement a program for job seeking participants that is of the highest caliber. She brought to her work
a sensitivity of the varied competencies and diverse backgrounds of the population. The program is
multi-tiered and provides empowerment for many that are low-income and have experienced multi-
generational poverty. She worked with those in need and subsequently trained staff in how to most
effectively deliver the program. Once implemented the results were startling successful. Participants
went from an average of three months to obtain employment to an average of six weeks with a 20%
increase in starting wages.
While contracting with Rhonda Lee Petrini it was especially refreshing to work with a professional that
came in and quickly understood the population and created a program that met people where they are.
Another effort by Dr. Petrini involved her work with an annual fund-raising event called “Help Chris
Walk” for a wheelchair bound individual. Her leadership, management skills, and strategic thinking were
invaluable to raise an unprecedented amount of funds for this particular cause. She increased the
synergy by her approach and understanding of the individuals involved (of which I was one) and her
clearly communicating the goals.
My positive experience with Dr. Petrini over the years cannot be overstated. I highly recommend her as
a key team member and leader.
