3. Becoming Job-ready is one of the most important aspect in
today's scenario where the competition has increased to such a
large extent. Some steps that would benefit one while preparing
for jobs are:
1 Knowing yourself :
Knowing your interest areas are a must before applying for a
job.Don't just apply for any job opening that you find.Be clear
with your thoughts about what you want to achieve.

Everyone knows the importance of a CV in
interview.So,take out time,build a proper good resume
with all relevant details.
3 Prepare for your your interview in advance :
Preparing for some prominent questions asked in
interview will be a good step but mugging up those

5. Writing a résumé/CV can be a big task for some people
and we humans are prone to make mistakes.
So , some of the information that should be compulsorily
present in your résumé are :
1 Contact details ( Includes your Name, Mobile number,
email id etc. )
2 Objective or Opening line ( Describing about
yourself in a few lines)
3 Academic Qualification ( 10th ,12th, UG ,PG etc.)
4 Top key skills, technical skills ( All skills that you
have and are confident about should be mentioned)
6. 5 Work Experience/ Trainings/ Internships ( All valid
details should be mentioned)
6 Any achievements/ awards ( Like Topped in school or any
Olympiad, Worked in any society - These can be listed)
7 Co- curricular Activities/ Hobbies (Your activities that you
are good at )
Things to be kept in mind while writing/editing your résumé:
1. It should not include your personal information ( Like birth
dates , marital status, health status etc.)
2. Images and other sorts of Graphics should be avoided.
3. The fonts should be legible and in easy-to-read styles. Fancy
formats should be avoided.
4. Résumé should be Short and Concise, but should include all
relevant and important details.
7. Interview !!! Be it Campus placements or be it switching
your jobs, one thing that remains common and the most
important is your Interview.How to prepare for an
interview is a big tension and a query especially for
freshers.
So,Let me highlight some important points that should be
kept in mind while preparing for an interview :
1 A good background research ( Search properly about
the company and the profile you have applied to , what will
be your role in the company)
2 Keep a watch on your body language ( You must know
that alongside your knowledge,the interviewer also notes
your body language)

Knowledge,Skills and Ability to do a task)
4 Prepare for some prominent Questions ( Like What
will be your contribution to the company,Where you see
yourself in next some years etc. besides your

5 Some common things like get dressed properly in
Formals, Review your résumé thoroughly, Be confident
and don't panic,Be polite to everyone , Express gratitude
etc. should be taken into focus.
6 Also don't forget that you would be under an
observation the moment you enter the hall, so be patient
and Think before you speak anything.

basically come with experience and practice

person with everyone you interact)
4 Observe your body language (When communicating
professionally especially,you should observe your body
language)
5 Be confident while Communicating to people,
colleagues,managers and others in your reach.

positive impact on the other person you are talking to and
will definitely bring up positive results.
