Solidarity Song

and sympathies
creating a psychological sense of unity of groups
…That is SOLIDARITY
…Dear ICS ALUMNI, do not forget
We have always been a family
…wherever we go, ICS is our HOME away from HOME
To strengthen our bond,
Let us sing a Solidary Song
By PAUL ANKA
Entitled: Times of Your Life
…………….
After singing the song..
“Times of Your Life” is heavily poetic,
and what it is harping on appears to be the concept of holding onto memories.
And due to the high level of poetry,
it can be challenging to definitively pin down what the vocalist is putting forth.
But all lyrics and sentiments considered, it seems that what the composer is saying is that whereas memories
can be cherished, they cannot be retained. Like once a moment has passed that’s it – it’s gone forever.
Therefore the song comes off as if all experiences, as in “the good times and the bad” as well as “all the others
in between”, have their value. owing to this, we should appreciate the moment we’re currently in for what it’s
worth.
Unity Dance.
So much of the reminiscing of past.
Let us all JUMP to a More exciting and fun adventure of the future.
Move and groove for the UNITY DANCE
…That ends our 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming
..See you all in the many years to come.
