Riley Potkonjak designed a logo and poster to represent different feelings and concepts. The logo uses three colors - red, yellow, and blue - to represent anger, neutrality, and sadness. Its unusual shape is meant to convey confusion. The poster features goggles to symbolize Riley's passion for snowboarding. It includes a quote about believing anything is possible, along with the font and colors from Red Bull to connect the quote to its source. Overall, the designs aim to provoke various emotions in viewers through their use of color, shape, imagery, and design elements.
3. Why the color(s)?
• The colors represent the three feelings people
get. Red represents anger and rage, yellow
represents being neutral and happiness
between the two other colors, and blue
represents sadness. When people look at my
logo, I want them to have the option between
what they feel as they look at it.
4. Why the shape(s)?
• The object helps me represent the three
feelings as it has three sectors of confusion.
The object is meant to define another feeling
that the viewer can experience as they view
the logo (confusion) as it is a optical illusion.
6. Why the quote?
• The quote is how I feel about what is possible.
People may set the limits in which they live in.
If a person believes that limits are a
suggestion to them and they believe that
anything is possible, then new technology is
created and new things are done so that the
world can advance. I like the idea of this kind
of person and I hope to become that kind of
person.
7. Why the picture?
• The picture is of goggles which represents
what I base my life on (snowboarding). I used
the photo to represent it because the photo
also represents supplementary colors which
can make the poster more appealing to the
viewer.
8. Why the font?
• The quote is from a Red Bull commercial and I
thought It would be a good idea if I used the
same font as the Red Bull logo. Most people
may not relate the two but it is why I used the
font.
9. Why the font color?
• The font colors are blue and silverish, the
color of the Red Bull cans and they are
displayed as the colors would be displayed if
they where actually on the can so that the
view can easily relate the two concepts of
colors and text to who the company who
created the quote.
10. Why the font color?
