2. What
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized
computer that plugs into your TV and a
keyboard. It is a capable little computer
which can be used in electronics projects,
and for many of the things that your
desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-
processing and games. It also plays high-
definition video. Single-board computer
developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi
Foundation with the intention of
promoting the teaching of basic computer
science in schools.
3. WHO
Eben Upton ,Rob Mullins, Jack Lang and
Alan Mycroft of Cambridge; Pete Lomas of
Norcott Technologies; and David Braben,
co-author of the famous BBC Micro game
Elite, teamed up in 2006 to found the
Raspberry Pi Foundation. This charitable
organization's primary goal is to create low-
cost, programmable computers and to get
them into as many hands as possible,
particularly those of children. Their price
goal was $25 per device.

on a Chip (SoC) that's made up of an ARM CPU and a
Videocore 4 GPU.
•GPIO- These are exposed general-purpose input/output
connection points.
•RCA- An RCA jack allows connection of analogTVs and
other similar output devices.
•Audio out-This is a standard 3.55-millimeter jack
