I was born in Iran. I got my B.A degree in Architecture from Guilan University and my Masters in Urban design from (IUST) Iran University of Science and Technology in Iran. My master thesis was about exploring main indicators which attract women to be present at public spaces: the case of Iranian women in a section of Vali-e-Asr Street in Tehran, Iran.
I started my PhD in December 2012 in the School of Architecture and Planning, NICAI, Auckland University. My PhD research project is titled "Understanding Difference in Planning and the role of Place Attachment: The case of Afghan Immigrant Women in Auckland".
