Installation
1. Source the latest version (Version 2) of AcyMailing from
Acyba: http://www.acyba.com/
2. Install using the normal Joomla Installer
3. Enable Module if you want Newsletter registration to be
managed from the front end.
4. Now to configure the component.

Configure AcyMailing
There are 7 configurable areas:
1. Mail Configuration – The default sending mail info.
2. Queue Process – Important to throttle your mailings.
3. Subscription – Setting up how the system works with new
registrations, notifications and redirections.
4. Interfaces – A number of display options
5. Security – What files can be uploaded.
6. Plugins – Make sure the Integration one is enabled if you
want to use auto registration.
7. Languages – Used when additional Language files are used.

Using AcyMailing
• Users – Your complete list of users is found here. You can edit,
delete and even manually add users.
• Lists – You can simply use the default list or add as many as you
need.
• Newsletters and Templates – You can create as many
templates as you like and then select a template for each
mailing.
• Queue – When you send a mailing and it doesn’t complete for
any reason you will see which ones didn’t succeed and are able
to send them or delete.
• Statistics – All mailing stats are recorded. You can easily see
which users have viewed the mailing.

Creating a Campaign
1. Select the template to use
2. Add in your content for this mailing
3. Select which lists the mailing will be sent to
4. Add any attachments
5. Check the Sender Details
6. Add Meta data if needed
7. Preview/Send
8. Send a testing email
9. Send the mailing

Is AcyMailing for you?
• If your mailing list is smaller than about 500 then it is ideal.
• You can use with larger but then you run the risk of Server
limitations in that you could be listed as a SPAMER!
• If you have lists of substantially more than 1000 I would
suggest using a dedicated option.
• Very easy to use and adapt to a wide range of uses.
• Easy to add, edit or delete users and lists.
• If you are familiar with HTML and CSS then you can style very
attractive mails, otherwise you will be limited to using the
Templates supplied.
