Ron Lichty has been managing software development and from time to time product organizations for over 20 years, the last 10 of those in the era of agile, extreme programming and scrum. Over the past four years he has trained teams in scrum and coached teams already using agile to make their software development "hum". He was a programmer, then managed a product marketing group at Apple Computer early in his career. As an engineering VP since then, he highly values the partnerships he has formed with product managers. Ron's book "Managing the Unmanageable: Rules, Tools, and Insights for Managing Software People and Teams" was published by Addison Wesley October 1, 2012.
