18. Gods Faithfulness Dependability, loyalty, and stability particularly as it describes God in His relationship to human believers (saints). The faithfulness of God and His Word is a constant theme in the Bible.

19. Footprints in the Sand One night a man had a dream, He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to him, the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path there was only one set of footprints. He recalled that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. He questioned, "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. Then, why during the most troublesome times in my life, the times when I needed you most, would you leave me?" The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never, never leave you. During your times of trials and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Col 3:5-6 “ Put Off” 5 So kill (deaden, l deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin]: sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God). 6 It is on account of these [very sins] that the [holy] anger of God is ever coming upon the sons of disobedience (those who are obstinately opposed to the divine will),

And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].
