3. 1. Mengidentifikasi fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan
unsur kebahasaan berupa simple present tense dan
present perfect dalam teks eksposisi analitis sesuai
dengan konteks penggunaannya.
2. Menyusun teks lisan dan tertulis mengenai teks
eksposisi analitis dengan menggunakan struktur
teks dan unsur kebahasaan yang tepat sesuai
dengan konteks penggunaannya.

4.  Simple present tense adalah tenses yang
digunakan ketika suatu kejadian sedang
berlangsung saat ini.
 kejadian yang berlangsung berulang kali
(kebiasaan).
 Kejadian yang merupakan sebuah fakta.
 Untuk menjelaskan sebuah kebenaran umum.
 Tenses ini merupakan tenses yang paling
sering digunakan dalam bahasa Inggris.

countries in the world.
6. Thirdly, English is a top requirement of those seeking
jobs.
7. Applicants who master either active or passive English
are more favorable than those who do not.
8. From the fact above, it is obvious that everybody
needs to learn English to greet the global era.

kerja yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu aksi

masa lalu namun efeknya masih berlanjut.

21. Kapan kita menggunakan present perfect tense?
Pertama, untuk menyatakan suatu tindakan yang
dimulai di masa lalu dan sudah selesai pada saat
berbicara (completed action) yang menekankan
hasil (result).
Contoh kalimat:
1. My sister has written two books. (Pada saat berbicara,
dia sudah menulis dan menghasilkan dua buku.)
2. I have studied two chapters. (Pada saat berbicara, saya
selesai belajar dua bab sebagai hasilnya.)

22. Kedua, untuk menyatakan suatu tindakan masa
lalu yang waktunya tidak pasti atau tidak
spesifik.
Contoh kalimat:
1. I have read that book.
2. She has been to Bali.

23. Ketiga, untuk menyatakan suatu tindakan yang baru
saja selesai (completed action) menggunakan
keterangan waktu just (baru saja).
Contoh kalimat:
1. He has just gone to school.
2. We have just arrived home.

24. Keempat, untuk menyatakan suatu tindakan
yang dimulai dan selesai dimasa lalu yang
memiliki efek atau pengaruh pada saat ini.
Contoh kalimat:
1. They have had a car accident. (Mereka
mungkin sedang dirawat di rumah sakit.)
2. He has lost his keys. (Dia tidak bisa masuk
ke rumah.)

25. Kelima, untuk menyatakan tindakan yang
terjadi dalam periode waktu yang belum selesai
pada saat berbicara.
Contoh kalimat:
1. I haven’t seen her this week. (Saya berbicara
misal di hari jumat.)
2. They have played football twice this
month. (Saya berbicara misal pada tanggal
20.)

26. Keenam, untuk menyatakan tindakan yang dimulai dimasa
lalu dan masih berlanjut sampai sekarang (uncompleted
action), biasanya menggunakan for dan since.
For (selama) menunjukkan berapa lama tindakan itu telah
berlangsung;
Since (sejak) menunjukkan waktu dimulainya suatu tindakan
dimasa lalu.
Contoh kalimat:
1. We have lived here for four years. (Kita masih tinggal
disini.)
2. I have known him since 2012. (Saya masih
mengenalnya.)
