7. The challenge: How could we persuade children to eat vegetables and fruits?

8. A programme based on a gaming approach.Tested in primary schools, students were asked
to give extra powers to superheroes, drawn by them, by eating healthy food: do you want a
superview?!? Just eat blackberries and carrots!

9. A programme spread over several weeks by alternating educational, creative, individual
and group activities in class and at home, with an active role played by the family.
Kids had to defeat the villains, that represent bad eating habits, eating seasonable fruit and
vegetables.

10. The result is a kit for the
schools with all the materials
needed for the game and the
instructions for teachers.
Happy Veggie has been selected for
the first edition of Compasso d’oro
internazionale 2015.
