4. Objective
Heka Fit brings you a remote
vital monitoring device after
which you will not have to
continuously travel to and from
the hospital to get treated.
5. Motivation
Our sole motivation for this
project was the lack of medical
facilities available in the rural
areas and the public hospitals.
Many people are deprived of
proper medical treatment in this
country because of the crowded
hospitals, poor quality services
or simply unavailability of it.
6. Working
Wrist-band will monitor the vitals of the patient and continuously send the
readings to the application which will be monitored by the patient’s relative
or doctor.
Any spike in the vitals will immediately alert the app user about it so that they
can take appropriate measures. In case of emergencies, application also
allows the user to make call to the hospital directly from the application.
A daily report of the vital readings of the patient will be present in the app so
that it can be viewed by the user.
7. Features
The band, Heka fit will
monitor patient’s vitals
through sensors and notify
every hour to the doctor and
the patient’s family.
