Project Title : IP Creation, Automation Consulting
Duration : From Oct 2016 till date
Description : As part of automation unit, the project involves design, creation and implementation of tools
that would reduce the manual efforts and bring in cognitive capabilities in various client engagements. We also
provide automation consulting to accounts.
Solutions created : Ticket Triaging software which would be able to route service requests automatically to the
correct teams along with the assignee. The frontend is coded in Angular and the backend is python. The entire
project is based on the Machine Learning - Natural Language Processing_ The algorithms used are Logistic
Regression, Random Forests, Support Vector Machines, Naïve Sayer, XGBoost as well as Deep Learning (Artificial
Neural Networks).
Some of the other tools are for automating the workflows, creating a reusable code repository, RPA solutions etc.

Description : Banking application with user interface in Java language and backend database as IBM DB2.
Solution created : In this application, we are providing different types of roles, feature, permissions to users
along with that populating required values in various fields, applets, forms on UI screen using different DB2 tables.
Also, worked on POC to migrate the IBM Mainframe to Microfocus COBOL which will reduce up to 70% cost by
reducing the MIPS consumption.

VISMA, VALUTA, Lindorff and TOSCA to SAP mapping.
Solution created : Usually data gets transferred to SAP and received from SAP to these systems. These systems to
be regularly monitored for any issues to be encountered. According to the incident gets raised by system, it needs
to be resolved on priority basis. Various programs in these systems are written in niche programming language
NATURAL.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer and Module lead, I was responsible for the following:

Project Title : NBV
Client : The Hartford - Leading Insurance Company in USA
Duration : December 2013 – January 2015
Description : A new Account management system is being developed for NBV for phase R3. This will remove
all dependency on Legacy ICON system and allow for the last phase of R3 to start that is ICON
retirement. After R3 Account management is fully rolled out, Accounts will no longer be
created within the legacy ICON front-end application.
Solution created : As it is phased roll-out of New ICON Account Management, rating services will need to support
customers created in Legacy ICON as well as New ICON. This will be accomplished by including an indicator based
on authorization level. When a user initiates a quote from New ICON Account Management, an indicator will be
sent to the rating services.
For customers migrated / created in New ICON, the rating service will leverage new POLICY and TRANS tables. As
part of this project we will also be defining new tables that tie to the Transaction and Policy tables. At the same
time, we will be making the Customer, Insurance Score, Appetite and Agency tables obsolete.

Description : This project is related to Retail Distribution Review- Quotes which involves the generation of
quotes for new, existing and change business which gives the projection of the investments.
From 31 December 2012, Retail Distribution Review (RDR) regulations introduced by the
Financial Services Authority (FSA) mean that commission can no longer be offered or paid on
advised sales of Standard Life Retail Products set up after this date.
Solution created : Commission will be replaced by Consultancy Charging are agreed between the Adviser and the
Employer. GSIPP/GFRP will also facilitate Adviser Charging that may have been agreed between scheme member
and their personal adviser. The Adviser Charging options that will facilitate under GFRP/GSIPP will be the same as
those for Retail SIPP.

Description : This project involves the development of new job which loads the active campaign data from flat
file to the new lookup table after verifying various records in the file. The screens of this project
will be in Java/Jboss which will use the new table to get the promotional ID of the deal and
display it.
Solution created : The client wants to avoid the misuse of the coupon using this lookup functionality. As the
project will store the number of attempts and will lock the coupon if number of unsuccessful attempts exceeds 10.

Description : This project involves the cleanup, processing and setup the input data for store acquisition and
also maintaining the system of the client and implementing additional functionalities if required.
Solution created : Client Rite Aid is acquiring new stores to stores of its own type. For this acquisition, the
support was by TCS. The functionality was incorporated and even the existing functionalities were enhanced for
efficient output. Previously it was taking around 8 hours to process each store completely in test region, but after
automating most of the tasks, the processing time came down to 4 hours, due to which productivity got increased.

Solution created : Client CIBC is implementing new functionality for its mortgages for which we need to create
the new COBOL/400 programs using AS/400 OS and DB2/400 as a database.
