Introduction
Class climate is the learning atmosphere in the classroom
that arises as a result of the relationship between teachers
and students, students and students, and due to the
interaction of various factors such as physical, material,
operational, and social organizations that affect the
learning process in the classroom.
factors that influence
classroom climate
This model includes three main components of school climate:
Engagement, Safety, and Environment.
01. The Teacher's Role In Creating A
Positive Classroom Climate
Elaborate on a personal detail you want to share.
Promote positive interactions among your students. Allow them to share
their feelings, and encourage them to listen to one another, give
compliments, express gratitude, and practice problem solving together.
As teachers, we can present topics and help start discussions, but then let
the students lead the conversation.
1. Eliminate all distractions that might interfere with students' concentration in
learning
2. Make rules with students
3. Give one task at a time
4. Always pay attention to students when teaching
5. Change teaching methods
6. Set aside rest periods in the middle of the teaching and learning process
7 , Give awards to students
02. Structures that Improve Classroom
Climate
- Creating a climate of security in the classroom
- Use of positive and supportive language
- Help students to deal with problems that arise
- Uphold discipline with compassion
03 Maintaining a Positive Classroom Climate
-
- Encourage participation
- Strengthen social interaction
- Encourage collaborative learning
- Provide useful feedback

Addition
Class climate refers to the prevailing mood,
attitude, standards, and tone that you and your
students perceive when they are in your class. A
negative classroom climate can feel hostile, chaotic,
and out of control. A positive classroom climate
feels safe, respectful, friendly, and supports student
learning. Ambrose and colleagues (2010) define
classroom climate as “the intellectual, social,
emotional, and physical environment in which our
students learn”
