3. BI NxGn CRM Integration Platform provides an end-to-end integration framework that integrates
systems of the local Business Units (BU) of BI with Veeva CRM System, i.e. system such as
customer master, ERP, digital content and sales/call activity data. Source to Landing (STL) processes
support data transformation needs of countries to transform and process data to ODS landing as
required by NxGn ODS Processes. STL help standardizes inbound interfaces for countries promoting
scalable architecture in line with the BI IS vision in addition to supporting local business rules,
processes and interfaces.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for data loading from source system to salesforce UI object.
• Responsible for initiating go/No-go meeting with clients.
• Responsible for the development of business logic using Informatica and Oracle.
• Analyze the requirements provided to us, Estimate the task and plan accordingly. Depending
upon which we prepare the ETL specifications documents which will be reviewed and finalized
by client, build process starts as per the timelines.

4. Description:
The purpose of this Boehringer Ingelheim NxGn CRM project is to implement operational data store
from BI source systems for Animal health and Consumer Health Care through Informatica ETL
(Extract, Transform and Load).BI is planning to consolidate the source data into a single Operational
Data Store and integrate it with Veeva application on Salesorce.com platform. The source systems
are composed of Vista (Siebel) application and flat file documents. The local business units will
provide the data and load them into the landing area. Informatica process will then load the data
into Staging area followed by ODS layer and finally to Veeva application on SFDC via outbound
tables.
The purpose of this Boehringer Ingelheim NxGn Global project is to transform and process the data
from 56 countries across the globe as required by NxGn ODS processes i.e. to consolidate the
source data into a single Operational Data Store and integrate it with Veeva application on
Salesorce.com platform. In addition to that the NxGn Global project also stages the data for
supplementary BI COE DW reporting requirements. It also standardize interfaces for countries
promoting scalable architecture in line with the IS vision in addition to supporting local business
rule, processes and interfaces.
NxGn Global implemented the largest “data integration hub” for Commercial Operations in any Life
Sciences organization and support it entire end-to-end solution from design, development and
support. Boehringer Ingelheim is driving 80% of their commercial operations revenue through our
platform supporting sales forces across 6 continents, 7 languages and 4 global time zones. In
addition, we worked with Veeva and other partners to truly demonstrate a collaborative working
partnership.
