I recently gave a presentation at Leuven Inc on the do's, don'ts and tools for social media management. I shared the stage with Comm&Co's Jonas Vandroemme and Binarta's Suleyman Aydogan. We talked about content marketing, content strategy and SEM activities.
It was a pretty interactive presentation, so shoot me an email at sam@techno-script.com if you need some info.

3. Let’s build the plan.
Ask these questions.
1. We are the only ones who…
2. Are we ready to talk?
3. What are we going to say? Where?
4. What do we want to achieve?
5. How can we stand out?
6. Which platforms are our best fit?
5. 2. Are we ready to talk? Are we ready to take some heat?
6. 3. What will become our content hub?
If people are to be expected to put up with turning on a
computer to read a screen, they must be rewarded with
deep and extremely up-to-date information that they can
explore at will. They need to have audio, and possibly
video.
9. 5. How can we stand out?
1.Add Value
2.Care
3.Ask your people what they want
4.Reply to Questions
5.Have a personality
6.Be Real
7.Know the trends
8.Think visual

businesses’ marketing efforts, and you have the change to engage these key consumers on Facebook.

Fridays, engagement
is 18% higher.

when to post in order to optimize your social media marketing efforts.
16. Every 60 seconds on
Facebook: 510 comments are
posted, 293,000 statuses are
updated, and 136,000 photos
are uploaded.
(Source: The Social Skinny) The Implication: Again, there are a lot of engaged
and active users, but also a huge amount of information competing for their
attention, so quality and strategy on your part matter.

J.P. Morgan Cancel's Q&A
In 2013, with the financial crisis still stinging, the geniuses at J.P. Morgan decided to open up their Twitter account to questions that would be answered by the vice chairman the next day. After six hours of abuse by the Internet asking things like "Where do I send my resume? I'm smart and have very flexible morals" (by @sjshmo, now suspended!), the Q&A got canceled.
We gaan direct geld beginnen verdienen.
Social media gaat om brand awareness, om een locale community te creeeren. Deel van een grotere strategie. Hier speelt ook google adwords in mee. Later hierover meer.
