William Clark was also

August 1, 1770. In their
background, the two of
them shared a lot in
common. They were
both, intelligent, young,
and born leaders.
4. When Louis and Clark when on their expedition, it
greatly contributed to the Age of Enlightenment.
The new knowledge they obtained about the
Geography and natural resources of the northwest
triggered an interest in the west. On top of that, it
gave the Americans a sense of pride.
