• CSR may be based within the human
resources, business development or public
relations departments of an institutions
• CSR maybe be based as a separate unit
reporting to the CEO or the board of directors

have a large carbon footprint. Any steps they can
take to reduce those footprints are considered both
good for the company and society as a whole.
