Marketing is a activity where producer selling Their
product or service to meet needs of targeted market.
It includes – Advertising ,selling ,and delivering to
consumer .
Organic product marketing
Selling practices of organic product by different way is
called organic product marketing .
To ensure that organic agriculture grows in area and that it
benefits the producer farmers.
It is essential that good market for organic product exist.

• Organic herbs & spices- chilli,peppermint,cardamon
• Other – jeggery,suger,tea,cofee,cotton.

Total cultivable area -159 million hectares
4.22 m ha forest and wild area .
MP has largest certified organic area ,then HP & rajasthan.
Produced 8.5 MT organic product .
India is the largest exporter of organic Product Range:
Organic rice, grains, flour pulses, oil & oil seeds, nuts, spices
& herbs, millets, & mangoes.

• 2,63,668 MT organic food (oilseed,processed food,cereals
& millets,tea ,pulses,dry fruits etc.).
14. POTENTIAL OF ORGANIC PRODUCE
The demand of organic product has been
rising by about 15% to 18% every year.
But the availability of certified food worldwide
is only in the range of 5% to 8% the indicates
the excellent potential.
Global demand for organic food has created
new export opportunities for developing
countries.
