  1. City University Department of Computer Science & Engineering 2021 Md Saylab ID. 1834902547 5/12/2021 Modern Technology Use in Modern Life
  2. Modern technology: Modern technology is the advancement of old technology with new addition and modifications. Any machine or device we see around us is the product of modern technology. It made things way easier that er could ever imagine. Modern technology has impacted every area of our lives and became a crucial factor in no time. There are some modern technologies in our everyday life. Virtual Reality: Virtual reality refers to a computer-generated simulation in which a person can interact within an artificial three-dimensional environment using electronic devices such as special goggle with a screen or gloves fitted with sensor. • Virtual reality creates an immersive artificial world that can seem quite real, via the use of technology. • Through a virtual reality viewer, users can look up, down or any which way as if they are actually there. • Virtual reality has many use-cases, including entrainment and gaming or acting as a sale, educational or training tool. Smart Watch: Smartwatches are just a variation of regular watches but come with a whole bunch of features as your smartwatch. We can make calls, text, browse the internet and take photo too. In the contemporary teach world smartwatches do stand a chance in increasing the productivity of the users. Instead of taking out the smartphone each time to answer a call or text a friend it is way much easier to use your own watch. AI (Artificial Intelligence): The field of AI refers to developing computer systems that use big sets of data to perform intelligent tasks: think visual perception, understanding natural language, reasoning and decision making. Machine learning is one way of building such systems based on providing the computer with example of what it should do and let it figure out how to do it.
  3. Robotics: What is Robot: Robot, any automatically operated machine that replaces human effort though it may not resemble human beings in appearance or perform functions in a humanlike manner. Now what is Robotics? Robotics is the intersection of science, engineering and technology that produces machines called robots that substitute for human actions. Pop culture has always been fascinated with robots. R2-D2. Optimus Prime. WALL- E. These over exaggerated, humanoid concepts of robots usually seem like a caricature of the real thing or are they more forward thinking than we realize! Robots are gaining intellectual and mechanical capabilities that don’t put the possibility of a R2-D2-like machine out of reach in the future. Office Technology: Changing technologies- including personal computer, slide projectors, movie projectors, overhead projectors, television monitors, videocassettes, video disc players, multimedia system and the internet have had a major impact on the office environment since the start of the twentieth century. The modern office has changed dramatically since 1990s. offices in today’s society are transmitting information via e-mail, e-calendars and teleconferencing as well as other electronic devices. Communication via technology continues to play a vital role in transforming the business environment. The variety of technologies available continues to change. Some of the technologies used in today’s office are: Intranets and Internets Web Pages Web Based e-mail. Voice mail. E-Calendar. Office Suites Portable PCs
  4. Security: With the rapid growth of internet in the internet, network security has become a major concern to companies throughout the world. The fact that the information and tools needed to penetrate the security of corporate networks are widely available has increased that concern. Because of this increased focus on network security, network administrators often spend more effort protecting their networks than on actual network setup or administration. Tools that probe for system vulnerabilities such as the security administrator tools for analyzing networks and some of the newly available scanning and intrusion detection package and appliances, assist in these efforts but these tools only point out area of weakness and may not provide a means to protect networks for all possible attacks. Thus, as a network administrator we must constantly try to keep abreast of the large number of security issues confronting you in today’s world. Cloud Computing: Cloud computing is the delivery of different service through the internet. These resources include tools and applications like data storage, server, database, networking and software. Rather than keeping files on a proprietary hard drive or local storage device, cloud-based storage makes it possible to save them to a remote database. As long as an electronic device has access to the web, it has access to the data and the software programs to run it. Cloud computing is a popular option for people and business for a number of reasons including cost savings, increased productivity, speed and efficiency, performance and security. Cloud computing can be both public or private. Public cloud services provide their services over the internet for a fee. Private cloud services, on the other hand, only provide services to a certain number of people. These services are a system of networks that supply hosted services. There is also a hybrid option which combines elements of both the public and private services.
  5. At the present situation modern technology’s is the most important things in our modern life. In our daily work we are depending with these technologies. So, we should proper use of these modern technology.
