Before joining Leidos, Krone served as president
of Network and Space Systems for The Boeing
Company, where he provided calculated direction
for approximately 15,000 employees in 35 states and
12 countries. He joined McDonnell Douglas in 1992,
serving as director of financial planning, vice president
and treasurer after a 14-year career at General Dynamics,
where he held positions in program management,
engineering, and finance. Krone also previously
served as chairman of the board of directors of the
United Launch Alliance, a 50-50 joint venture between
Boeing and Lockheed Martin that helps carry weather,
telecommunications, and national security satellites to
space and employs more rocket scientists than any other
company in the world.
Krone earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace
engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology,
a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from
the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of
Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate
School of Business. A Six Sigma Green Belt, Krone is
both a licensed commercial pilot and a certified public
accountant. He is also a Fellow of the American Institute
of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Fellow of the
Royal Aeronautical Society in the United Kingdom.
Krone is a member of the Georgia Tech Foundation
Board of Trustees and a member of the board of WETA
Public Television and Radio in Washington, D.C. He is a
long-time supporter of the Urban League and currently
serves on the board of the Greater Washington chapter.
He is also a member of the Executive Council of the
Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and a member
of the AOPA Foundation’s Board of Visitors.

ADVANCED SOLUTIONS
Our Advanced Solutions Group conducts research and development to unlock technology improvements in the
areas of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); airborne collection; command and control; large-
scale software development; data analytics; and autonomy and applies them to advanced integrated systems.
The group supports customers from the defense and intelligence industry looking for leading-edge technologies
to increase or complete their missions.
John Fratamico
PRESIDENT, ADVANCED SOLUTIONS GROUP
John J. Fratamico, Jr., Ph.D., is the president of the Advanced Solutions Group. Prior to this role,
Fratamico served as the president of the Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group at Leidos, where
he led more than 2,500 technical specialists.
Fratamico earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT). During his tenure at MIT, he was selected as a Fellow of the Fannie and John Hertz
Foundation.

PRESIDENT, CIVIL GROUP
Angela Heise is president of the Civil Group. She is responsible for providing solutions to U.S.
Cabinet-level civil agencies and major elements of the public sector across the globe. Prior to
this role, Heise served as vice president of Commercial Markets for Lockheed Martin-Commercial
Cyber, where she was responsible for delivery of a portfolio of cybersecurity and information technology solutions
and services to commercial Global 1000 customers portfolio. Heise graduated from Southern Illinois University with
a Bachelor of Science in computer science. She was recognized in 2012 as Aviation Week’s Top 40 under 40 and in
2013 was one of Federal Computing Week’s “Top 100 Executives.”

Mike Leiter

Michael Leiter is president of the Defense Group. He leads several thousand personnel who
provide mission-critical technology, solutions, and services to support the U.S. DoD and
allied nations around the world. He previously served as executive vice president and head of
integration for the $5 billion merger of Leidos and Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems & Global Solutions
(IS&GS) business. Prior to this, Leiter served as the executive vice president for Business Development and
Strategy and the chief strategy officer. Previously, he served as head of Global Government & Commercial Cyber
Operations of Silicon Valley-based Palantir Technologies.
Before joining the private sector, Leiter served as the director of the National Counterterrorism Center under
Presidents Bush and Obama as well as a law clerk to Justice Stephen Breyer and a naval aviator.

Jon Scholl
PRESIDENT, HEALTH GROUP
Jon Scholl is president of the Health Group. He is responsible for leading several thousand
employees providing services and solutions in health information technology services, population
health risk management and case management, health analytics, life sciences, and public health.
Prior to joining Leidos in 2015, Scholl served as chief strategy officer for Texas Health Resources (THR), one of the
largest non-profit healthcare delivery systems in the country. Before THR, Scholl was a partner and managing
director with The Boston Consulting Group, where he spent 15 years.
Scholl received a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. After graduating from
the U.S. Naval Academy in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in control systems engineering, he served five years in
the U.S. Navy as a nuclear submarine officer and nuclear power plant instructor.

Tim Reardon

Timothy J. Reardon is the president of the Intelligence & Homeland Security Group. He is
responsible for leading the delivery of complex services and solutions to the intelligence
community and homeland security agencies. This includes national security, cyber, advanced
analytics, enterprise IT modernization, software development, and screening technology.
Previously, Reardon served as the vice president and general manager of Lockheed Martin’s IS&GS business. In
this role, he was responsible for leading the delivery of advanced systems, solutions, and services to defense,
intelligence, civilian, and commercial customers in the United States and worldwide.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Reardon served as an officer with the Central Intelligence Agency for 10 years
holding analytic, operational, and leadership positions focused on high-priority national security issues.

Before joining Leidos, Krone served as president of Network and Space Systems for The Boeing Company, where he provided calculated direction for approximately 15,000 employees in 35 states and 12 countries. He joined McDonnell Douglas in 1992, serving as director of financial planning, vice president and treasurer after a 14-year career at General Dynamics, where he held positions in program management, engineering, and finance. Krone also previously served as chairman of the board of directors of the United Launch Alliance, a 50-50 joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin that helps carry weather, telecommunications, and national security satellites to space and employs more rocket scientists than any other company in the world. Krone earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. A Six Sigma Green Belt, Krone is both a licensed commercial pilot and a certified public accountant. He is also a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society in the United Kingdom. Krone is a member of the Georgia Tech Foundation Board of Trustees and a member of the board of WETA Public Television and Radio in Washington, D.C. He is a long-time supporter of the Urban League and currently serves on the board of the Greater Washington chapter. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and a member of the AOPA Foundation’s Board of Visitors. John Fratamico PRESIDENT, ADVANCED SOLUTIONS GROUP John J. Fratamico, Jr., Ph.D., is the president of the Advanced Solutions Group. Prior to this role, Fratamico served as the president of the Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group at Leidos, where he led more than 2,500 technical specialists. Fratamico earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During his tenure at MIT, he was selected as a Fellow of the Fannie and John Hertz Foundation. Prior to this role, Heise served as vice president of Commercial Markets for Lockheed Martin-Commercial Cyber, where she was responsible for delivery of a portfolio of cybersecurity and information technology solutions and services to commercial Global 1000 customers portfolio. Heise graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science. Before THR, Scholl was a partner and managing director with The Boston Consulting Group, where he spent 15 years. Scholl received a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
