2.  Since there is no worldwide patent available at
this time, the best place to first patent your
invention in your country.
 This keeps people, particularly competitors,
from stealing your work or using your ideas
without permission.
 You can patent almost any invention, from a
recipe for a pie-cake to a blueprint for a new
technology.

months of filing in the U.S., you first have to
get a license from the USPTO.
 The license can be used to file for a patent in
any country.

want to submit a patent to after you receive
approval from the PCT.
