strategy.
o You don’t need a gathering of fans you need a pursuer and grower of your
passionate goal
• Buy and hold strategy is how you gain value in stocks,
gain and release is how you build value in people.
o 2 strategies for inputting value into a team.
• Build what you want, or buy what you want.

conducive to it’s business
needs.
• The organization and it’s
structure is often a tool in
the hand of the leader of
the business.

• Building with human bricks means you have clearly
defined key aspects of each role and maybe even have
a vision around the evolution of the role.
• You have also attacked “The org chart of imagination”
and begun to put names in those roles even if there is
overlap…which should be the case in smaller teams.
• Now you can put people in those roles which best fit the
infrastructure and systems in place.
Next Steps
• If passionate, empowering leadership builds
great teams. Then…
o Check your Passion Level, increase it or reduce it accordingly.
o Be an Excellent example and pass the task on to the next great leader.
o Clarify the WIN for teams so that they can hit it out of the park
consistently.
o Withhold rewards from team members who do not accomplish their
task in a manner consistent with your goals, business, or vision.
o Provide coaching rather than complaints to increase long-term
productivity.
o Create great environments which facilitate accomplishment of your
goals, as well as stimulates the team with challenges and skills growth.
