I'm a scientist, innovator/entrepreneur, and UCLA medical school professor. I help people, patients, and businesses make lasting changes in their lives and work. I study the science behind human behavior, especially related to new technologies (see digitalbehavior.ucla.edu for more info about this field of research). My work as a medical school professor focuses on changing and predicting health behaviors and disease outbreaks using mobile technologies and big data.
