This document provides an overview of Wi-Fi security concepts including Wi-Fi frames, channels, modes of a wireless network interface controller, and various Wi-Fi auxiliary modules. It describes management, control, and data frames, common Wi-Fi channels, the six possible wireless NIC modes, and several auxiliary modules for tasks like creating a fake access point, sending deauthentication packets, flooding CTS/RTS frames, broadcasting an SSID list, and fuzzing beacon frames.
