1. Client Diary 3
My work before half term was nothing but editing and because of how complicated everything was the projects editing kept on
being thrown helter-skelter (when I say that I mean all the editing kept on winding up in the wrong places). The main
complication I had to keep on coming back to was the opening audio because of how long it was which required things to be
constantly switched around which placed the wrong footage and sound effects in the wrong areas, but I was eventually able to
smooth things out as much as possible. The biggest problem was the pixel art because I had to constantly keep on changing the
design in certain shots to fit with the story but I always forgot a minuscule detail which I had to keep on going back to fix or start
everything again, and as frustrating as it was I got everything completely fixed in time, the only thing to fix now is the stabbing
sounds that got moved right to the end for some reason (probably because they’re so small to see).
My project of York Geeks and Gamers Guide trailer is nearly finished thanks to me finally adding in the narration and editing in its
right places despite how complicated it is to tell the what's going on in the trailer. I was able to get most of the project done but
it was extremely frustrating to edit everything because of how many little details it needed and everything constantly needed
readjusting. What else could you do? I could look through the footage to see what minor sound effects and music the footage
needs but there’s not that much else to do besides for placing the stab sounds in the right place.
